About Us

The LOCATOUMAT company was created in 1981 by Mr. Pierre GAUCHER.
Mr. Pierre GAUCHER, CEO and Mrs. Fabienne GAUCHER, Managing Director are at the head of the Charentaise company.

 

The family business has grown a lot since 1981. 40 years later, LOCATOUMAT records an annual turnover of around 20 million Euros.

 

Today, LOCATOUMAT has more than 150 employees divided between 15 agencies, in 4 departments: Charente (16), Charente-Maritime (17), Dordogne (24) and Gironde (33).

We are renters.

 

The core business of LOCATOUMAT is historically the rental of equipment for public works, building, gardens... for professionals, but also for individuals.

 

The fleet of equipment available for hire has more than 1,500 references, ranging from small DIY or gardening equipment to large earthmoving or lifting equipment.

 

We are also sellers.

 

Within each LOCATOUMAT branch, we offer a certain number of supplies and consumables:

• Fuels, lubricants
• Measuring and marking equipment
• Signaling
• Floor care
• PPE ...
